Amplify Delta is an online tournament for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Consisting of a series of 12-race matches, teams and players from all around the globe match up and compete to win. Amplify Delta was the second event, which started on January 13, 2018 and finished on February 25.
This edition of Amplify continues on the success of Amplify 2017, an exciting tournament with 16 teams and hundreds of players. With Amplify Delta, teams battled once again in another race to the finish! Hosts Twonk and Jazzy delivered an exciting event, with plenty of karting action!
The tournament began with a classic group stage, where all teams participated in a round-robin competition and aim to be the top in their group. Next, a double-elimination bracket stage was held, with teams being eliminated after losing two matches.
Amplify Delta introduced a multi-bracket format. Teams were seeded into different brackets based on their performance in the group stage. Zealous emerged as the victor of the Premier bracket, while Banana Legion took home the Amateur prize. Well done!
